Qatar to replace camel riders with robots

The popular sport of camel racing is under fire because apparently young boys are used as jockeys and suffer abuse because of it. Kidnapping, starvation, etc. The solution?

By 2007, rulers of this energy-rich emirate say all camel racers will be mechanical.

Don't get me wrong, robots riding camels is right in so many ways. Just the fact we live in an age where this can be discussed seriously makes me happy to be alive. But isn't using real boys and not abusing them an option?
